Today ends in -Y

The days are running together.  I was thinking today was Tuesday.  Went on a Zoom call with my fifth graders and let them know their assignment was due in two days on Thursday.  Then one of them said, "Mrs. Grant, tomorrow is Thursday.  So is it due tomorrow?"  And I had to think about it because I thought it was Tuesday and I knew I'd given them two days to work on the assignment.  So apparently it is Wednesday and the assignment was due on Friday.  Giving them two days to do the assignment.  I let them know my faulty thinking.  Thankfully I had posted it correctly.  So that was something.

Tomorrow will be another day that ends in -Y.  That's about the only consistent thing in our lives right now.
