Julia's Nose

During recess on Thursday last week Julia was playing basketball with the third graders - boys against girls.  At one point either someone's head or a ball hit her directly in the nose.  She got a horrible nose bleed.  The nurse said it was one of the worst she's ever seen and it was everywhere!  She had quite a bit of bruising and it looked like she might have injured it more.  Thankfully it seems to be healing and there's no swelling, but it is still sore.

One of the third grade teachers who heard that she had gotten hurt turned to another teacher and said, "Julia's hurt again?!  She's always getting hurt."  We love our girl so much and often tell her that if someone's going to get hurt, it's probably going to be her.  lol.... :)
