Bike Riding
The past three days it has been time for the Grant Biker Gang to head out on the Northaven Trail for a few long bike rides. The days were gorgeous! Riley likes to play her music through her speaker that she attaches on her bike (bluetooth connection to her phone). Julia loves to race us and go fast on her bike. I listen to music on my phone while we ride and try to keep an eye on both girls as we go. Always a mom. It's such a great trail to ride on!
There are these two really small bridges that are cute and one bridge that is bigger that goes over a small creek. We all love going over the creek - it's so pretty! The path from our house to GSES is about 2.5 miles so we've gone a few times right to the school and twice this weekend we rode all the way around by the YMCA, which is just a little further.
Julia always jokes about wondering how many things she's going to run into because in previous bike rides she ran into large construction signs. This weekend she managed to run into a fence and something else. She just giggles and thankfully hasn't been hurt!
We always come back home so happy after spending time together in the sun!
