Meeting Julia's PenPal
Today Julia and all of third grade went on a field trip to Presbyterian Village North. They got a tour of the places and got to meet their pen pals in person. They got to see a bedroom there too. Julia and her pen pal charlsie have been writing each other back and forth they really got to know each other a lot they like that they both have a dog she likes meeting each other seems they like talking to each other
It's such a great program that they do in third grade every year. Julia got to sing there with her choir on Monday and actually got to meet Charlsie a few days early. She said that Charlsie asked her to figure out how old she was and try to guess when they met. Julia guessed she was 82 and she's actually 81 years old! She was close! This is the third year that the school has done this and it's so wonderful! They ate lunch together and had pizza. It was really good. She saw Freckles, her dog. It's like a baltese or something - not a maltese. (according to Jules)
