Val and Abigail: Best Friends Forever
About a week before break, we decided to drive to my parents house to spend the week with them. We ventured to TN on Saturday with a 12 hour drive. Poppi and Grammy were so gracious to host Val at their home so we dropped him off. I've never loved a dog until Val and have missed him for sure. I know they're taking great care of him and that he is having fun playing with their dog Abigail. Poppi has shared funny stories about Val and Abigail with us. Val was constantly following Abigail around everywhere when we there and apparently that has continued.
First story: Abigail is getting tired of his advances. He follows her around. She finally acted like she was going into the office, got Val to follow, then she turned around, came back in and closed the door.
Second story: Val came up to Poppi to be petted. Abigail came over and put her head between me and Val and then, like a bull, she head butted him out of the way and put her head in his lap.
Poppi said that he took Abigail with him tonight; she really appreciated the one on one time. He said he thought she enjoyed the piece and quiet! Ha!
Third story: Even though Abigail is annoyed with him, Poppi lost track of where Val was one time. He said "Where's Val?" Abigail ran over by the trucks and brought him right back. He said that when they go outside, Abigail won't let Val go too far.
