Our Week Off for Thanksgiving Break

This Thanksgiving break has been incredibly fun.  Madi was able to take the bus up to Dallas and came in late Monday night.  Jeremy picked her up from the station.  On Tuesday morning we had our new water heater put in - YAY!!  Then in the afternoon the girls and I went to Nickelmania.  It's this fun arcade where every game costs nickels.  We picked up Yvie along the way.  Julia spent most of her time at this one game where it costs 10 cents.  The dot moves around a circle and if you hit the jackpot (get the dot on a specific location) then you earn 150 tickets.  Julia hit the jackpot twice, Madi twice, and Yvie once.  I'm not sure if Riley played that game or not. The girls traded their tickets in for balls and candy.

On Wednesday we went up to Interskate Roller Rink.  Julia and I hung out together and skated around and around.  She's really gotten the hang of it!  Riley and Madi skated for a while, hung out, and then skated a bit more.  During the skate time there was a game where orange and green papers were hidden around the rink.  If you found it and brought it up to the DJ then you earned free admission for yourself and nine friends to come skate.  Madi wasn't even looking for the papers, but she fell on the ground near one of the game machines and when she looked up she saw a green folded paper inside one of the game slots.  Hoping she can come up again so we can all go again.
