Wreck it Riley

 Riley's first season as a UA Rower is coming to a close.  She's had a fantastic year and already looking forward to the summer rowing camps and next year.

Her last regatta was at White Rock Lake about two weeks ago.  She was already on the race course, but caught a crab.  Her oar got stuck under the boat due to wind and water and broke in half.  She was so strong that she broke it.  Cried a little, but her teammates helped her through it.  They gave her the nickname of "Wreck it Riley."  A play on the movie "Wreck it Ralph."

She's also known as knee brace girl because she's had to wear a compression brace on her knee most of the season.  It helps her a ton.

I'm so glad that she didn't let it bring her down and that her teammates were so supportive.  Love seeing her so happy in a sport that has brought out the best in her.  Go Wreck it Riley!
