Julia Finally Has Her Birthday Party

One year away from being a teenager.  Crazy...

We celebrated her birthday in stages.  The day of her birthday we gave her our gift - tickets to see Mean Girls!  We were planning to see this in NYC, but then Covid hit two years ago.  They're coming to Dallas in May so we're super excited to see it as a family.

We went out to Seasons 52 for both Julia's and Jeremy's birthday dinners on another night.

This past weekend Julia had four friends over for a sleepover party.  She's gotten to know quite a few new girls this year and it's been neat to see her enjoying time with them.  The girls played hide and seek throughout the house before making naanza pizzas and baking brownies.  They were giggly and happy and wild, but great.

They went to bed after one am.  Late night for all!  Julia even took a nap the next day, which is not typical for her!

Can't wait to see what the years holds for her!  As I always say... 12 looks good on her :)
