Finding Jim
This year we've prayed every night for Jim and continued to hold out hope. There was no news about him - and we didn't see anything that pointed to where he was. Until four days ago. Jon was going to visit family that were fairly close to Savannah, GA (where we thought he still was) and he looked up Jim's information online from his first arrest to see if it would pull anything up and it did. We found out that he had been arrested in Augusta, GA for heroin and meth possession on February 23, 2018. He had first moved there when he left TX and he has returned to that area.
We are able to see that he remained in jail for 28 days, but was then released. He is on probation for the next 2 years and several months. We're hoping to be able to find the name of his probation officer and get ahold of them to find out if there's anything we can do to learn more or help.
Prayers are greatly, greatly appreciated! As long as he is alive, there's still hope that God can change his life and he can choose to live life.
