Green Mint
After dinner tonight, Riley asked if she could have some ice cream and Jeremy said she could. Each week Jeremy buys each of them their own pint in a flavor that they want. It keeps down the arguing about who had how much and how many times they ate compared to everyone else. Plus it's a way to portion control how much they have each week - once the pint is gone, they don't get any more for the rest of the week.
Jeremy asked Riley if she could get his pint and a spoon for him as well. She brought the two pints and spoons to the table. Jeremy asked Julia if she'd like to have a bite of his - it's Mint Chocolate Chip. She did and so she ate a small spoonful of it. Her face immediately had a look of disgust. She said "I forgot I don't like mint!" Then she began to cry. Apparently she truly hates mint. She continued to say that she doesn't like mint. We began to laugh - told her that we weren't laughing at her, but with her (even though she was crying and not laughing). Then she began to giggle a little while crying.
