Mom and Daughter Day Out
While Jeremy and Riley were gone on their trip, Julia and I played hooky from school on Thursday to spend the entire day together. Julia was pretty much in charge of everything we did - within reason. She chose our activities and our dinner. I have to say it was really awesome.
In the morning, she came with me to school for the Select Drum Rehearsal. After that, we went home and played American Girl Dolls for a long time, played some games and then left to go to the Galleria Mall. At the mall, we spent time at Claire's where she found some fake glasses, lip gloss and other odds and ends. We also went to the AG Doll store where we bought two outfits for the dolls. We then went home and immediately dressed her dolls and played even more.
For dinner, she chose her favorite restaurant (Seasons 52) where we ate our favorite meals and enjoyed the little delicious desserts - love their Smores one!
